The focus of the firm is to identify the requirements of the profession beyond the basic duties, such as, competence, diligence, loyalty to a client, honesty, independent judgment and duties of confidentiality that are assumed as “givens”. The firm seeks to identify demands beyond these ordinary and necessary basics that professionalism imposes upon attorneys who aspire to provide superior legal services.

The success of the firm is also visible from its client list, which carries names of some of the best business houses in the world.
It has always been the contention of the firm that throughout its 27-year history it has managed to be above its competitors and deliver services comparable with international standards. This has also led to the firm being selected as the exclusive member from Kuwait to Lex Mundi, the world’s leading and largest association of independent law firms.

Legal System in Kuwait
The State of Kuwait follows the civil law
system or what is commonly known as the Latin system. The
historical origins of Kuwaiti Law are from the Egyptian and
French codes. Article 2 of the Constitution provides that
Islamic Sharia forms a major source of law. It is not however
the exclusive source. Therefore, it is not essential for a
law to be totally in conformity with Islamic Sharia in order
for it to be constitutional.
