Abdullah Kh. Al-Ayoub Date of Birth: Born in Kuwait on July 17, 1947. Education: Kuwait University, LL.B., 1975 and also studied at University College London. Bar Admission: Admitted to the Kuwait Bar in 1978. Licensed to practice before all Courts in Kuwait. Licensed to practice as a legal counselor in Dubai.  Associate member:  American Bar Association. Experience: From 1975 until 1978 served as a District Attorney in Kuwait. In 1976, served as an Assistant on the Faculty of Law at Kuwait University. Practicing law in Kuwait since 1978. Has been admitted to practice before all Kuwaiti courts including the Court of Cassation.  In 1982, founded the Law firm Abdullah Kh. Al-Ayoub. The practice expanded over the years and led to the establishment of the international division within the firm, presently styled as Abdullah Kh. Al-Ayoub & Associates. Important Positions Held: Served on various committees and is a member of various prestigious organizations. Between 1984 and 1986, served as the Chairman of the Legal Ethics [Committee] and as the President of the Kuwait Bar Association in 1994, as the Former Editor of Lawyer, (a magazine for lawyers and legal scholars in the State of Kuwait), as a member of the Martyrs' Committee (a committee of the Amiri Diwan), as a member of various legislative committees, as a member of the Arab Association for International Arbitration (AAIA). Has been nominated by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry as an arbitrator at the GCC Commercial Arbitration Center. Member of the Kuwaiti Resistance during Iraqi Invasion 1990-91.Former member of the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Lawyers Union. Awards / Honours: Recipient of Award from the Kuwait Bar Association given on the 40th Anniversary of its establishment. The Award was given by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, in recognition of services rendered as President of Kuwait Bar Association from February 1993 to December 6, 1994. Recipient of International Who’s Who of Professionals – 1996; Received Citation of Meritorious Achievement and listed in the Dictionary of International Biography in 1998, received Diploma of Authority and designated Deputy Director General for Asia by International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England, in 1999; Awarded the Outstanding Man of the 20th Century award by American Biographical Institute.
